How to Draw a Mandala Grid Easily?

In this video explain how to draw mandala grids in 3 simple methods

Requiring Mandala Materials:

  • Square Sheet (20x20mm, 30x30mm or 40x40mm …)
  • Pencil H-Grade
  • Compass
  • Ruler
  • Eraser
  • 360-Degree Protractor

Method 1: Download Mandala grid sheets for free

On our website, we provide free downloadable mandala grid sheets, which are very useful for both beginners and experienced artists. These grids help you focus on creativity and design rather than worrying about creating symmetrical structures.

Method 2: Using a Square Sheet

  1. Choose a perfect square sheet (e.g., 20x20mm).
  2. Use a ruler and pencil to connect the four corners with lines. This will help you find the midpoint of the sheet.
  3. Mark points every 10mm or 20mm along all four sides of the square.
  4. Connect the opposite center points through the midpoint.
  5. Draw perpendicular lines through the midpoint to divide the sheet into equal sections.
  6. Along the midline, mark points every 10mm or 20mm, depending on your preferred grid size.
  7. Using a compass, draw circles centered at the midpoint, passing through each marked point.
  8. You now have a perfect mandala grid!

Method 3: Using a Rectangular or Irregular Sheet

  1. Find and mark the approximate midpoint of the sheet.
  2. Draw a circle as large as needed, centered at the midpoint.
  3. Using a 360-degree protractor, mark points every 10mm or 20mm around the circle.
  4. Connect these points with perpendicular lines through the midpoint.
  5. Mark points along the midline at your preferred spacing (e.g., 10mm or 20mm).
  6. Using a compass, draw circles centered at the midpoint, passing through each marked point.
  7. Your mandala grid is now complete!

This method works for both square and rectangular sheets, allowing you to create precise, symmetrical mandala patterns easily.
